At The University of Unlearning (UofU), we believe that everyone deserves access to radical insight, curious questions, and brain-tingling content—regardless of ability, device, or digital dexterity.
We’re committed to making our online space inclusive, accessible, and usable for as many humans as possible.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
Digital-Only, Fully Intentioned
We don’t have a physical campus—just a digital one. That means we’re focused 100% on building an accessible online experience that can be explored by screen readers, keyboards, and alternative navigation tools alike.
What We’re Doing
To help ensure accessibility, we aim to follow best practices aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, at level AA or better. This includes:
-
Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues
-
Set the language of the site
-
Set the content order of the site’s pages
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Keyboard-friendly navigation
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
-
Captions/transcripts for audio/video content (we’re building this into our future releases and YouTube content)

Where We’re Still Unlearning
We know accessibility is an ongoing journey—not a checkbox. Some of our legacy content or playful designs might still need refinement, and we’re always open to learning (or unlearning) ways we can do better.
